The Historian is responsible for cataloging all official records of the club. This includes the constitution, bylaws, board of directors’ minutes, monthly membership minutes, and newsletters. In addition, photographs taken at the various dog shows are catalogued and stored. A perpetual scrapbook is maintained to display news articles and photographs.

The Newsletter Editor gathers materials of interest to the membership and publishes the monthly newsletter to members in good standing. Club officers, board members and committee members work with the editor to make sure the membership is kept current on matters concerning the club.
The purpose in publishing a newsletter is to inform the membership of events important to the club and members, such as general meeting dates, times, and places, along with special committee meetings. The newsletter is also the vehicle for publishing minutes from general and board meetings, articles of general or special interest and advertisements from individuals and approved businesses.

The Membership Chair is responsible for processing new membership applications as stated in the HRKC constitution and Bylaws. Of import, the Membership Chair and all club members strive to encourage the addition, specifically, of people of all experience levels and ages who wish to support, promote, and protect purebred dogs and positively contribute to activities related to our AKC member All-Breed Club.
Public Education TBA
The Public Education coordinator serves as a liaison between AKC, HRKC and the community. The coordinator is responsible for coordinating public education programs for the club by distributing responsible dog ownership literature at local events, and offering educational programs to local schools. The coordinator is also responsible for notifying the local media of HRKC events.

The Programs Chair is responsible for arranging dog-related interesting topics to be presented to the membership at club functions and monthly meetings.
